If you choose to work with us, we’ll meet regularly to help you keep your plan on track and your goals within reach.

Step 1 - Initial Conversation (30-60 Minutes, Virtual)

This is a relaxed, pressure-free conversation held over Microsoft Teams. We use this time to deeply understand what matters most to you - both financially and personally. It’s a chance for us to understand your situation, and you’ll leave with clarity about how we work and whether it makes sense to move to the next step.


We’ll ask thoughtful questions like:

  • If we were meeting three years from now, what would you like to have accomplished for this relationship to have been a success?
  • If you could have one financial problem go away today, what would it be and why?
  • What are your biggest concerns when it comes to retirement or money in general?
  • What are your most important financial goals over the next 5, 10, 20 years?

We’ll also walk you through:

  • What our planning and investment process looks like
  • How we help with Social Security, Medicare, health care, tax efficient investing, withdrawal strategies, and estate planning strategies
  • What you can expect from us year after year if you become a client

Next Steps: If it sounds like what we do aligns with what you are looking for, we'll schedule a second call to get a deeper dive into your goals and current financial situation.


Step 2 - Discovery Session (60-90 Minutes, Virtual)

Before this meeting, we’ll send you a short questionnaire and request a few key documents (like account statements, Social Security estimates, pension projections, etc.). This gives us the raw data we need to do real planning, not guesswork. By the end of the meeting, we will be working on your retirement plan for you for free. 

The goal of this meeting: Full clarity. We want you to feel confident that we understand your situation inside and out - so we can deliver real recommendations that align with your goals.

During the meeting, we’ll:

  • Walk through everything you’ve shared with us
  • Ask follow-up questions to clarify your full financial picture
  • Dive deeper into any areas that need more attention, like income sources, tax exposure, risk tolerance, or gaps in coverage
  • Begin connecting your goals to your numbers so we can prepare your custom plan
     

There’s no cost or obligation for this planning work. If we earn your trust, we would love the chance to work with you long term in helping you to implement and monitor the plan. We believe everyone deserves to approach retirement with clarity and gaining peace of mind.

Next Steps: Once you give us the green light, we will start building out your retirement plan and set up a third meeting to review it with you.

Step 3 - Your Plan & Recommendations (60-90 Minutes, Virtual)

In this final planning meeting, we’ll show you where you stand - clearly and visually - using eMoney and other planning tools. You’ll see how your current financial picture aligns with your goals and what might need to be adjusted.

 We’ll cover:

  • Whether you’re on track to meet your retirement and lifestyle goals, and if not, recommendations to get you on track
  • How efficient your current strategy is (fees, taxes, allocations)
  • Opportunities to enhance your situation - whether that means retiring earlier, spending more, or leaving more behind

We’ll walk through all of our recommendations clearly, and you’ll leave with a concrete understanding of:

  • What changes (if any) we suggest; we will put all options out on the table for consideration
  • How we’d implement the changes
  • How we work with clients on an ongoing basis
     

We only get paid if you decide to move forward and at this point, before you make any decisisons, all fees and costs will be laid out transparently so you can make an educated decision. 

Next Steps: If you've decided to move forward with one or any of our recommendations, the next step is implementing those changes.

Step 4 - Ongoing Service

Once you become a client, our work doesn’t stop. Life changes, markets move, and goals evolve, so we stay in your corner.

We’ll meet regularly - at least once a year, and often quarterly - to:

  • Review your investments and make updates as needed
  • Track your progress toward your goals
  • Adjust your withdrawal strategy, tax strategy, or allocations when life changes
  • Discuss any new concerns, opportunities, or life events that could affect your plan
     

 You’ll always know where things stand, and you’ll never be left wondering if you’re still on track. We work with your tax professional or CPA as well as your estate attorney for transparency and an inclusive financial review. 

We’re not just here to help you manage your money. We’re here to be your long-term collaborator - someone who helps make complex decisions simpler, year after year.
